The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is hosting a photo exhibition highlighting the natural beauty of Vietnam’s native insects from the perspective of Italian photographer Saulo Bambi.

The event, held in collaboration with the Vietnam National Museum of Nature, the Natural History Museum of the University of Florence, and the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi, features photos taken from 2008 to 2018 in Vietnam’s national parks and reserves.

The 'Discover the Diversity of Vietnamese Insects' exhibiton also boasts a unique lighting system that truly brings out the detail in each photo.

A map of Vietnam made entirely from butterflies is also on display at the exhibit, detailing each of Vietnam’s eight natural geographic areas.

The event will run at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology until June 18.
