A Vietnamese-Canadian bubble artist has enthralled the young audience with his performances at a famous theme park in Ho Chi Minh City this weekend.

The gigs by Fan Yang, 57, took place at 12:00 pm and 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11.

Yang also dedicated an entire show free-of-charge to 500 children from local foster homes at 10:00 am on Saturday.

The kids were very fascinated to see countless of bubbles in different shapes, sizes, and colors being created by the bubble maestro.

Many of them could not hide their excitement after being invited onstage to assist the artist with his performances.

Born in 1962 in the northern city of Hai Phong, Yang left Vietnam with his Vietnamese mother and Hungarian father to live abroad when he was two years old.

Yang has had about 30 years of experience as a bubble artist. In addition to performing, he has developed his own solution formulas to create bubbles that are much bigger and safer to human health compared to soap.

His first record was set in Germany in 1992 after he created the largest spherical soap bubble. The maestro currently holds 19 world records in the field of bubbles.

His most memorable achievement was stuffing a total of 181 people inside a giant bubble during a performance in Vancouve, Canada in 2012.

Yang also produces a show, called the Gazillion Bubble Show, in New York City.
