The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2019 (DIFF 2019) closed on Saturday night following over one month of competition in the namesake central Vietnamese city, with Finland being the winner.
The final showdown of this year’s event took place between Team JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland and Team Pyrotex Fireworx Ltd from the United Kingdom.
Finland’s representative was able to deliver a spectacular performance which depicted the journey to the sea of fishermen in Northern Europe.
The pyrotechnic show took the audience on an emotional roller coaster, ending with the joy and triumph of the fishers as they returned to the mainland following a successful trip.
Meanwhile, Team Pyrotex Fireworx Ltd surprised their admirers with a harmonious combination of light and music, although the performance was said to lack complexity.
At the end of the night, Team JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland was crowned the winner and awarded the trophy and a US$10,000 cash prize.
