Police hunt for eight motorbike thieves in Ho Chi Minh City

Police in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City are hunting for a group of people who were found stealing motorbikes from a local household at night.

Law enforcement officers on Wednesday finished procedures to start investigating the case and hunting for the thieves.

According to initial information, at 5:00 am on Monday, H., a resident in Binh Chanh District, came to his vehicle repair shop in Tan Kien Commune.

Upon arrival, H. found that the door lock had been destroyed and two motorbikes had been gone.

H. immediately reported the case to local police.

They then arrived at the scene to collect CCTV footage, which showed a group of eight reaching H.’s shop at around 3:30 am the same day.

Some of the gang broke into the shop, took away two motorbikes, and escaped with others.
