Police officers in Ho Chi Minh City are investigating a female lawyer’s fatal fall from an apartment building in Thu Duc District on Sunday afternoon.

Local residents witnessed N.T.M.T., 50, who was a lawyer and hailed from the central province of Quang Nam, falling from the 18th floor of block A2 at the Sunview Town apartment complex on D2 Street in Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward at around 12:00 pm on Sunday.

When the witnesses reached the location where T. hit the ground, the woman was already dead.

After receiving reports of the incident, police officers in Thu Duc District, in collaboration with the municipal police, blocked and examined the scene to investigate the cause of the fatal fall.

The victim's body was then taken for an autopsy to support the investigation.
