Police of Kon Tum Province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands are investigating the accident of a sleeper bus which overturned while crossing local Ngoc Hoi District on Sunday.

The sleeper bus was heading northbound on the Ngoc Hoi District section of Provincial Road No. 14 at 4:00 pm on Sunday when it crashed into the roadside after trying to avoid a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

According to reports, the area was experiencing heavy rain at the time, causing the road surface to become slippery.

All 19 passengers and staffers on the bus were injured in the accident, but no heavy casualties were reported.
