Vietnam has been selected as an eligible country, alongside Germany, Singapore, India, Australia, and the U.S., to send contestants to the Solana Grizzlython 2023 global programming contest.
Blockchain platform Solana recently announced the launch of a global programming competition called Solana Grizzlython 2023.
The contest will be held in the form of a hackathon with a total prize pool of up to US$5 million, aiming to build a sustainable blockchain ecosystem connecting people around the world.
Many Web3 developers see this as an opportunity to focus on finding and fostering talents and investing in quality projects.
According to the organizing board, Vietnam is considered one of the countries with strong potential for Web3 technology with the percentage of users and employees among the top in Asia.
Therefore, Solana decided to choose Vietnam alongside Germany, Singapore, India, Australia, and the U.S. to send contestants to the Solana Grizzlython 2023.
The contest will be accompanied by Solana’s partners including Syndica, CoinDesk, QuickNode, Backpack, Helius, Symmetry, and Triton.
Seven award categories include Mobile, DeFi, Payment, Gaming, Web3 Consumer, DAO, and Infrastructure.
Besides the prizes, participants with highly rated projects will have the opportunity to introduce their ideas directly to large investment funds such as Coinbase Ventures, Placeholder Capital, Electric Capital, Solana Foundation, Race Capital, and Apollo Global Management.
