-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday proposed that Ho Chi Minh City’s outlying Can Gio District, known for its mangrove forest ecosystem and biosphere reserves, should be transformed into a forest urban area.

-- Based on reports from various ministries, departments, and localities, the total number of civil servants and public employees who resigned from their positions between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, amounted to 18,991. On average, approximately 1,582 people resigned each month during this period.

-- National carrier Vietnam Airlines on Tuesday announced the ban of smart luggage with integrated lithium batteries exceeding 300Wh from its flights.

-- The forest patrol and protection team in Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province, came across the carcass of a decomposed elephant on Tuesday.

-- Ho Chi Minh City has requested the central government to raise the capacity of waste-to-energy incineration from 240MW per day to 340MW per day to handle the growing amount of waste.


-- The Vietnam Football Federation and Vietnam Professional Football JSC are anticipated to introduce the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology to the top-tier V-League 1 later this month.
