A huge fire engulfed a LED light box and advertising board manufacturing facility spanning hundreds of square meters in Thu Duc City, under Ho Chi Minh City on Friday evening, causing no casualties but destroying a large number of properties inside.
Nobody stayed in the facility at the time of the incident, which broke out at around 9:00 pm.
Local residents tried to put out the fire but failed, as it became more fierce and raged the entire facility, located on Kha Van Can Street in Linh Dong Ward.
A dozen firefighters and many fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

“I heard many people screaming while I was asleep.
“I rushed out of my home and discovered the facility was burning.
“I joined the crowd to put out the huge fire but we failed,” an eyewitness told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.
Power supply was suspended in the entire area to serve the firefighting operation.
Authorities have launched a probe to determine the cause of the fire.
