Police in Soc Trang Province, southern Vietnam on Tuesday said that they had summoned both the drivers of a car and a motorbike captured in a viral video in which the motorbike rider used his left leg to push the apparently stalled car on a street en route to a repair shop.

A commuter recorded the 33-second video when they witnessed the incident on Tran Hung Dao Street in the province’s Soc Trang City at around 7:20 am on the same day.

The footage showed that a motorcyclist extended his left leg to assist in moving the car in front.

The motorbike is registered with number plate 83P3-057.85, while the car bears number plate 83A-076.87.

The towing service continued until the car reached a nearby garage.

The video then went viral on social media due to the unusual yet attention-grabbing nature of the incident, while also raising concerns about traffic safety.

Police officers of Soc Trang stated that they would handle the case in accordance with regulations.
