A 37-year-old worker got his left leg trapped inside a concrete mixer while operating the machine at a construction material production facility in Bien Hoa City under Dong Nai Province, located in southern Vietnam, on Saturday night.
He was quickly rescued by the city’s firefighting and rescue team, but the incident left his foot crushed.
The victim was identified as T.Q.T., a resident of Thai Binh Province in northern Vietnam.
At 11:45 pm on the same day, his left leg was trapped inside the cement mixer.
His co-workers tried in vain to pull him out, so they called police forces to free him.
Eight firefighters and rescuers were dispatched to the plant, and used special tools to separate parts of the machine to save him.
He was let loose at 1:00 am on Sunday.
After receiving first aid, the man was rushed to Cho Ray Hospital in neighboring Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment.
