Although the ways to these mountains were slippery, many curious people tried to reach the peaks to admire the phenomenon, which was caused by a cold spell hitting the northern region.
The cold spell will last until Thursday and has resulted in temperatures of 7-10 degrees Celsius in the region and below zero degrees Celsius in high mountain areas, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
The bitterly cold weather may cause an impact on human health, livestock and plants, the center added.
