Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco) has announced that several areas in Ho Chi Minh City’s Thu Duc City and districts will experience water outages over this weekend for the maintenance of the filter valves at Saigon Clean Water Business and Investment Joint Stock Company (SWIC) and technical equipment checks on the network.

Specifically, the service halt is scheduled for 9:00 pm on Saturday to 5:00 am on Sunday. 

This will result in water outages in several areas including Binh Chieu, Hiep Binh Chanh, Hiep Binh Phuoc, Linh Dong, Tam Binh, and Tam Phu Wards of Thu Duc City.

Additionally, maintenance work will lead to low water pressure in other areas such as Binh Tho and Linh Chieu Wards in Thu Duc City; Wards 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 25, 26, 27, 28 of Binh Thanh District; as well as Wards 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 17 of Go Vap District; and An Phu Dong and Thanh Loc Wards in District 12.

In Tan Binh District, the impact will be felt in Wards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and the Tan Son Nhat International Airport area.

Sawaco assures that duty units will be instructed to increase water supply activities via tanker trucks to key locations to minimize disruptions to daily activities.
