-- A sawdust tank exploded in a wood processing company in Binh Duong Province, a neighbor of Ho Chi Minh City, on Saturday, injuring nine workers.
-- Police in Nghe An Province, north-central Vietnam on Friday cracked down on a ring transporting drugs to Vietnam from abroad, arresting two suspects and confiscating 27 bricks of heroin, five kilograms of meth, 6,000 synthetic drug tablets, and many other exhibits.
-- Garbage has piled up as high as mountains at two landfills in Go Quao and Giong Rieng Districts in Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam, while a waste treatment plant which has been built since 2017 remains incomplete.
-- Dak Nong Province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands is experiencing a significant increase in dengue hospitalizations. Last month alone saw 789 cases, bringing the total number of dengue hospitalizations in the province to nearly 1,350 since the beginning of the year, according to the provincial Department of Health.
