The Department of Tourism in Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam said on Monday that it had launched a contest to design souvenirs for tourists.
The contest will last until September 30 to seek signature gift models that the province will present to domestic and international tourists, contributing to enriching the province’s tourism identity and brand.
All individuals and organizations in Vietnam can take part in the tourist souvenir design contest.
Contestants are advised to submit their complete products or replicable models to make it convenient for production.
According to the contest organizer, entries must showcase creativity, esthetics, and distinctive characteristics of Khanh Hoa. They should also be cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

The province set out new criteria to select appropriate designs in the contest this year, Thanh added.
Interested contestants can send their designs to the Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Center at 61 Yersin Street in Nha Trang City.
The contest offers one first prize worth VND40 million (US$1,568), one second prize valued at VND32 million ($1,254), and one third prize worth VND24 million ($941), according to the Vietnam News Agency.
