Man dies after being struck by drone in southern Vietnam

Police in Hon Dat District, Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam are investigating a case in which a man was hit by a drone, leading to his death, an officer said on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as B.V.T., 49, who resided in My Hiep Son Commune, Hon Dat District.
Preliminary investigation results indicated that last Wednesday, a drone being used to spray pesticide in rice fields collided with a man riding his motorcycle on a local road in the commune.
M.V.L., a 29-year-old resident of My Hiep Son, was identified as the drone operator.
The drone struck the victim's neck and head, leading to severe injuries.
Despite being hospitalized for emergency treatment, T. succumbed to the critical injuries.
