-- Ship 09 of the Naval Region 2’s Brigade 171 of Vietnam participated in a parade within the framework of the Komodo 2025 Multilateral Naval Exercise, which kicked off at Benoa Port, Indonesia on Sunday, according to the Vietnam News Agency.

-- Police in Binh Phuoc Province, southern Vietnam announced on Sunday that they had successfully dismantled an inter-provincial drug ring, arresting 18 suspects and confiscating eight kilograms of various drugs.

-- Police in Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam have completed a supplementary investigation into a fraud and property appropriation case that occurred in 2021 and 2022 in Phu Quoc, an island city. The investigation found that Colonel Le Van Mot, former head of Phu Quoc City's public security division, bears joint responsibility for nearly VND66 billion (US$2.6 million) of the total VND96.44 billion ($3.8 million) involved in the case.

-- The northern province of Bac Giang strives to lure approximately $1.5 billion in foreign direct investment this year, the Vietnam News Agency quoted chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh as saying.

-- The Italian cruise ship Costa Serena, carrying around 2,700 international passengers, arrived in Phu Quoc City, off the coast of Kien Giang Province in southern Vietnam, on Sunday afternoon.

-- Former head coach of the Vietnamese shooting team, Nguyen Thi Nhung, announced on her personal Facebook on Sunday that she had been officially awarded the ISSF Certified Shooting Sports Coach Class A in Pistol by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). This achievement marks the first time a Vietnamese coach has received the highest shooting coaching certification in the world after passing rigorous tests and training athletes to win Olympic and world medals.

-- “Inter Milan missed the chance to go top of Serie A as they fell to a 1-0 loss at Juventus on Sunday with Francisco Conceicao scoring the decisive late goal in an action-packed match,” Reuters reported.
