-- Vietnam's Party General Secretary To Lam held a high-level meeting with President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Cambodian Senate Hun Sen, and General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday.

-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held a working session with his Cambodian counterpart Hun Manet and Lao PM Sonexay Siphandone in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday over the agreements outlined following a meeting among the three countries’ Party leaders earlier the same day.

-- As the European Union has issued 12 warnings against Vietnamese food exports since early this year, Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has tasked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade with addressing this issue.

-- Party General Secretary To Lam rode the first metro line in Ho Chi Minh City as part of his trip to the southern metropolis on Saturday.
