Vietnam star Doan Van Hau, who recently moved to Dutch league side SC Heerenveen, has been included in the popular football video game franchise FIFA 20.
The latest edition of the FIFA series produced by EA Sports had its worldwide release on September 24 and the 20-year-old Vietnam international is the latest player from Southeast Asia to be added to FIFA 20, Fox Sports Asia reports.
The defender, who helped Vietnam win the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 last year, has been handed an overall rating of 65 in the game with a three-star weak foot rating and two-star skill moves rating.
Hau’s best attribute in FIFA 20 is his pace, which sits at 76, while he is rated 71 for physicality.
The former Hanoi FC player possesses a defending rating of 63 and dribbling rating of 58, while his passing and shooting are at 50 and 45, respectively.

However, what makes the young Vietnamese star stand out from other Southeast Asian players is his potential rating of 75, Fox Sports Asia reports.
That is the second-highest potential rating for any player from Southeast Asia in the newest edition of the game, behind only Indonesia starlet Egy Maulana and Philippines goalkeeper Neil Etheridge who have a potential of 76.
Hau’s potential rating is level with that of Thai star Chanathip Songkrasin.
His in-game transfer value is 800,000 euros (US$875,000), only behind Etheridge (5.5 million euros, or $6 million) and Chanathip (3.1 million euros, or $3.4 million) among Southeast Asian players.

The 20-year-old defender has been loaned by his club Hanoi FC to SC Heerenveen on a one-year term since September 2019, with the Dutch club retaining a buy-out clause of 1.5 million euros ($1.66 million) after the contract ends.
Hanoi FC plays at Vietnam’s top-tier V. League 1, while SC Heerenveen competes at Eredivisie, which is Dutch football's highest league.
Hau is the first-ever Vietnamese footballer to play in the Netherlands, and only the second to play in Europe so far following Nguyen Cong Phuong, who signs for Belgium’s Sint-Truiden.
Phuong has been added to the FIFA franchise since its 2019 edition and continues to be featured in FIFA 20 with an overall rating of 62.
