Authorities in Da Lat City of Lam Dong Province, located in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, have adorned its streets with flowers to warmly welcome tourists and celebrate the city’s 130th anniversary of establishment.
The central streets of Da Lat, such as Le Dai Hanh, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Van Cu, and Tran Quoc Toan, and the area around Ong Dao Bridge near Xuan Huong Lake have burst into vibrant flower displays, featuring thousands of blossoms in various colors.
Parks throughout the city are also adorned with unique floral arrangements, enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
The flower decorations aim to honor the history of Da Lat, which was founded in 1893 and recently admitted to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in terms of music.

Da Lat also desires to introduce tourists to its splendid blend of nature, climate, and landscapes, makes it a flower heaven.
Additionally, artists have painted some routes with famous architectural symbols, turning them into photo-worthy destinations for tourists.
Beyond the floral displays, Da Lat is hosting a series of events to celebrate its 130th founding anniversary.

These include cultural and artistic activities, fashion shows, fairs, competitions related to the city’s culture and art, and contests for designing clean and beautiful green spaces.
These initiatives aim to express love for the city and engage communities in commemorating this significant milestone.
Lam Dong Province anticipates hosting 8.65 million tourists this year, slightly higher than its earlier projection and marking a 15.3-percent increase compared to the previous year, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
