As Vietnam’s Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet, is about three weeks ahead, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper has curated a wide selection of festivals and activities for locals and visitors to have tons of fun ringing in the Year of the Dragon while in Da Nang City, central Vietnam.

From January 20 to March 31, the iconic Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist site will host a spring-themed festival where visitors can explore the stunning beauty of numerous types of flowers, while participating in traditional folk games and trying to make bánh chưng, known as square sticky rice cake which is a traditional delicacy in northern Vietnam.

Visitors to Ba Na Hills are expected to fully enjoy the jubilant Tet ambiance and admire a new festive look of the tourist attraction, said Ba Na Hills director Nguyen Lam An.

With its pathway decorated with as many as 5,000 dazzling lanterns, the Asia Park is another must-go destination during Tet in this beach city.
