-- On the sidelines of the Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting (MRT) of the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Hanoi on Sunday, heads of government from Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam had several discussions on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement.

-- Vietnam’s lawmaking National Assembly is set to convene its third meeting in Hanoi on Monday.

-- Police in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang are probing a case in which several automobiles parked on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street were stoned and damaged by a group of young men on Sunday.

-- Authorities in Nam Tra My District, located in the central province of Quang Nam, confirmed that a magnitude-2.7 earthquake had struck the locality on Saturday night.
