Some 100 Vietnamese and international enterprises are exhibiting various green products and services at the Green Growth Show 2023 on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.
The show opened on Wednesday and is set to last until Sunday, drawing the participation of major firms active in agriculture, apparel, energy, tourism, finance, smart urban, transport, and environment fields.
The event is part of the fourth Ho Chi Minh City Economy Forum 2023, themed ‘Green Growth – Journey to Zero Net Emissions,’ which is taking place through Sunday.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the show, Vo Van Hoan, vice-chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said that the green growth show is aimed at spreading a message of green transition efforts.
Fashion brand V-sixtyfour is displaying over 30 eco-friendly designs.
Ngo Van Hung, a representative from V-sixtyfour, told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the firm’s products on display at the show are made out of natural fiber, with energy-, water- and material-efficient production lines.
Many booths showcasing clean agricultural products excited visitors.
Tam Nong Vietnam Cooperative brought big pumpkins to the show, wooing throngs of visitors.
Nguyen Thi Van Anh, CEO of the cooperative, said that it produces organic vegetables and uses no pesticide during the farming period.

An array of art performances, cultural activities, and entertainment and cuisine events will be held within the framework of the show, which is expected to draw 50,000 visitors.
