A caravan of supercars will set off in Ho Chi Minh City on September 14 to kick off the Gumball 3000 2024, an international car rally for celebrities and the wealthy, which will make its Southeast Asian debut as it spans five nations in the region this year.
The 3,000-mile rally will take Gumballers through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The rally will bring together over 100 supercars and hypercars from renowned brands such as Bugatti, Porsche, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.
The convoy will be led by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper, founder of the Gumball 3000, and YouTuber Mr. JWW (James Walker) in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
After their start on Le Loi Street in Ho Chi Minh City, where they are set to complete all registration procedures and decorate their supercars, the participating Gumball drivers will head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the southern metropolis’ most important historic tourist attractions, for sightseeing.
The Gumballers will reach the next stop of the ‘superstars and supercars’ trip in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and participate in various music events.

Drivers participating in the Gumball 3000 will make a stop at Cambodia’s iconic Angkor Wat on September 16, where they will take part in a charitable auction benefiting youth programs worldwide.
The following day, the convoy will set a Guinness World Record for the largest-ever supercar performance at one of the Wonders of the World.
The rally continues with stops in Bangkok and Krabi Island, Thailand, before heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on September 20, where American rapper Ja Rule is set to perform at an exclusive music event.
The journey will conclude in Singapore on September 21, coinciding with the Formula One race.
Among the notable participants are Vietnamese rapper Binz, American streamer IShow Speed, former Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra, and American YouTuber DailyDrivenExotics (DDE).
Several supercars, including the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Rolls-Royce Dawn, and Ferrari 812 Competizione, have already been imported into Vietnam for the event.
