Lexus dealerships across Vietnam have started receiving deposits for the Lexus RX 350h prior to the luxury crossover SUV’s expected entrance to the local market in the second quarter of this year.
According to sales consultants, four versions of the 2025 Lexus RX are slated to be sold in Vietnam, including the RX 350 Premium, RX 350h Premium, RX 350h Luxury, and RX 500h F Sport Performance.
Among these, the RX 350h Premium and RX 350h Luxury are new entries, but the prices of the new hybrid versions have yet to be disclosed.
The vehicles are likely to hit the local market during the second quarter of this year, though the date has yet to be confirmed by Lexus Vietnam.
The RX 350 Premium is priced at VND3.43 billion (US$135,880), so the hybrid variants are likely to be much more expensive due to featuring a battery and electric motor.
The RX 350h version stands out with a 2.5L hybrid engine capable of generating 247 horsepower, an all-wheel-drive system, and a self-charging NiMH battery.
Fuel consumption figures for the RX 350h, as published by Lexus Middle East, are as low as 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
However, figures from Lexus Singapore and Lexus U.S. showed slightly higher consumption at 5.6 liters per 100km and 6.3 liters per 100km, respectively.
These fuel efficiency levels are on par with those of the Toyota Vios (approximately 5.9 liters per 100km for mixed driving and 4.8 liters per 100km for highway driving).
In terms of exterior design, the RX 350h Luxury and Premium are expected to closely resemble their gasoline counterparts that have previously been sold in Vietnam.

Both hybrid versions will come equipped with 21-inch wheels as standard. However, unlike the gasoline models, they will not include the F Sport package.
The interior of the RX 350h variants is likely to mirror that of the gasoline versions, with features such as two large screens, a 14-inch central display, a heads-up display, electrically adjustable seats with heating and cooling, and a three-zone automatic climate control system.
The Luxury version will also boast a Mark Levinson 21-speaker sound system, an integrated rear-view mirror display, and a panoramic sunroof.

The introduction of the RX 350h will provide the most fuel-efficient option in the RX lineup in Vietnam, although its power output is slightly lower than that of the RX 350 and RX 500h.
The replacement of the RX 350 Luxury and RX 350 F Sport variants with their respective hybrid versions indicates that Lexus is focusing on an electrification strategy for this model series.
