Vietnam's Kien Giang Province, home to the tourist island of Phu Quoc, has recently been recognized as one of the ‘Most Welcoming Regions on Earth’ in 2025 by Booking.com.
According to the digital travel company, Kien Giang joins a diverse selection of incredible destinations across the globe, recognized for their exceptional hospitality.
Nestled in the Mekong Delta, Kien Giang captivates visitors with its stunning natural beauty, including pristine beaches, lush mangrove forests, and the renowned Phu Quoc Island.
Beyond its breathtaking landscapes, the region invites travelers to delve into unique traditions, savor local delicacies, and immerse themselves in the warm hospitality of its people.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication of Kien Giang's accommodation providers in offering outstanding service and showcasing the region's unique beauty and charm, Booking.com said in a press release on Thursday.
Other places listed among 2025’s Most Welcoming Places on Earth by Booking.com include Osijek-Baranja in Croatia, Kakheti in Georgia, Madeira in Portugal, Misiones in Argentina, Graubünden in Switzerland, South Australia in Australia, Bretagne in France, Baja California Sur in Mexico, and Drenthe in the Netherlands.
The 2025’s Most Welcoming Places on Earth list was part of the 13th edition of Booking.com’s annual Traveller Review Awards, which honors travel partners who consistently deliver outstanding hospitality and service and make travel experiences more memorable for travelers.
Based on over 360 million verified customer reviews, in 2025, a record-breaking 1.71 million partners are being recognized, including 13,003 partners in Vietnam.
