The U.S. automotive website Autoblog has highlighted the electric vehicle (EV) models set to launch in 2025, including VinFast's VF 6 and VF 7, which start at around US$30,000.

“Vietnamese automaker VinFast is making waves with its VF 6 and VF 7 models. These compact crossovers are designed to appeal to budget-conscious buyers, with pricing starting at roughly $30,000 for the VF 6 and $37,000 for the VF 7," according to Autoblog.

“Despite their lower price points, they promise modern styling and a range of features that should make them competitive in the growing EV market.

"By focusing on entry-level pricing, VinFast hopes to carve out a significant share of the global EV market in 2025.”

In early 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission revealed on its website the prices of these two models in the U.S..

Specifically, the VinFast VF 6 Eco version, including a battery, is priced at $34,000.

The price is lower than that of Hyundai Kona EV 2023, Kia Niro 2023, and Tesla Model 3, which cost $34,885, $40,875, and $38,130, respectively.

Meanwhile, the VF 7 Eco with a battery is priced at $40,200, cheaper than Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE RWD ($42,785) and Volkswagen ID.4 Pro RWD ($42,790).

Regarding warranty policies in the U.S., VinFast VF 6 batteries will be covered for seven years with no mileage limit.

The vehicles are covered for seven years or 87,000 miles (140,000 km), whichever comes first.

VF 7 batteries are covered for 10 years with no mileage limit, while the vehicles are covered for 10 years or 125,000 miles (over 201,000 km), whichever comes first.

In fact, the VinFast VF 6 and VF 7 have been spotted being tested on U.S. streets.
