The University of Science under the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City will cooperate with the European Innovation Academy in recruiting trainees for an entrepreneurship program in Europe this summer.

According to Dr. Vu Hai Quan, vice rector of the Vietnamese university, this is a special course as trainers are experts from leading schools and companies around the world, including UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Google, and IBM from the U.S.; the Polytechnic University of Turin from Italy; and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis from France.

The course, titled Entrepreneurship & Innovation Summer Program, is expected to last for three weeks, starting in July and to be run in Turin and Nice.

It is open to young people aged between 18 and 30, who have a passion for science and technology as well as a spirit of entrepreneurship, especially in the field of information technology.

Besides acquiring knowledge and skills for start-ups, trainees will be able to build a network of young start-up entrepreneurs from around the world.

A group of trainees with the best start-up project will receive an award worth €10,000 after the course.

As one of the world’s biggest entrepreneurship programs, the European Innovation Academy’s Entrepreneurship Summer Program has so far attracted more than 4,000 trainees from 75 countries.
