A photo competition called “Saving energy for a green future” has recently been launched to better promote frugal, sensible use of energy.

Launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Commerce, the competition welcomes photos which depict acts of energy saving and use of clean energy sources.

Competitors can send three photos at the maximum, along with the photo names, annotation and their feelings and opinions regarding the photos to enertecexpo@gmail.com from now to July 20.

The contending photos will be posted on Facebook.com/giotraidatvn by each day end. Regarding the marking criteria, the photos’ likes at the fanpage, shares of the photos and the jury decisions will account for 50%, 20% and 30% of their total marks respectively. The jury will decide on the winning photos from the 10 shortlisted ones.

The organizer will give away the first prize of VND10 mil (US$500) and several other prizes at the award presenting ceremony, scheduled to take place at the inauguration of the Enertec Expo in HCMC on July 24.
