An exhibit called “In the stream of life”, which features all woodburning paintings by local artist Ngo Van Sac, is running in Ho Chi Minh City until Nov 25.

The exhibit, which is going on at Craig Thomas gallery, 27i Tran Nhat Duat, District 1, introduces Sac’s collection of pyrographic paintings, in which the artist created pictures on wood using heated tools which burn away some of the surface.

Sac’s art is the portrayal of people amidst the hustle and bustle of life and is suggestive of their reminiscences, constantly fluctuating moods and emotions.
