An emerging model, who was runner-up of the “Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012” reality show, will become the first Vietnamese femme fatale to be featured in the world-famous Vogue fashion magazine’s Italian version.
Kha My Van, who boasts a unique, Japanese-like beauty, told Vietnamplus that she will appear in Vogue Italy, one of the world’s highest-quality fashion magazines.
She could hardly believe one of her wildest dreams has come true, the model said.
Van passed several stringent auditions launched by Vogue Italy’s experts before landing a coveted photo shoot with the fashion magazine.
Since last month Van has been working in Milan, one of Italy’ and the world’s fashion hubs, with ICE Models under a contract the company signed with its Vietnamese modeling partner, beU Models.
ICE Models is a model training and management company in Milan.
The model was named runner-up of “Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012,” the local version of the original “America’s Next Top Model.”
The local version premiered in the Southeast Asian country in 2010.
