Diehard music fans braved drizzling rain and cold to watch the star-studded performances at the 2019 Monsoon Music Festival, one of Vietnam’s biggest music events that kicked off in Hanoi on Friday evening.

Now in its fourth edition, the 2019 festival is running from November 1 to 3 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Ba Dinh District, featuring celebrated artists from Vietnam and foreign countries such as South Korea, Denmark, Lebanon, Thailand, Israel, Indonesia, the United States, and the Republic of Ireland.

The opening night of the festival stunned fans with performances from the emerging Vietnamese singer Vu, as well as international guests including South Korean electronic rock band ADOY, Danish/Lebanese singer Mariyah, and Irish rock band Kodaline.
