Millions of people from all over the two biggest cities of Vietnam – Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City – are counting down to 2015 on Wednesday evening.
In Ho Chi Minh City, millions of people have rushed to the venues where the most beautiful fireworks shows will begin at midnight.
The pyrotechnic show will start at 00:00 am, but at 7:00 pm many streets in the downtown area like Ton Duc Thang and Ham Nghi were packed with people.
Two hours later, it was impossible for vehicles to move, and people had to send their motorbikes and cars to parking facilities in the area and walked to the venues.
When all the parking facilities were full, many others had to stop right on the streets.
In Hanoi, early on Wednesday evening, thousands of people poured into places like the Hanoi Opera House and Hoan Kiem Lake to count down to the New Year 2015.
