Two employees of low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific have been caught on camera throwing passengers’ parcels while loading them up an aircraft in Ho Chi Minh City.

The incident happened at around 1:50 pm on Tuesday at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and was filmed by a reporter from Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.

During the over-one-minute footage, two employees of the airline can be seen hurling multiple boxes and packages on a carousel as they loaded the goods up an Airbus A320 aircraft.

The reporter stated that the situation was going on for a while before he decided to record it on his phone.

Nguyen Tien Si, a communication officer at Jetstar, contacted Tuoi Tre later the same day, stating that the two men in the video clip were staff members of the airline’s courier service.

Si also asserted that it was wrong to toss passengers’ parcels in such a violent manner.

Managers of the carrier have ordered relevant individuals as well as its courier unit to make a report of the case.

Jetstar Pacific will sternly punish those responsible and exert their best efforts to prevent similar incidents in the future, Si continued.
