Wednesday, November 25, 2020, 14:21 GMT+7

A shooting occurred on Monday at a toll station in Kien Xuong District of the northern province of Thai Binh, causing one person to be severely wounded.

The incident took place around 7:45 pm at the Thanh Ne tollgate, which is located on Thai Binh’s Provincial Road 458.

It stemmed from the conflict between an unidentified man who works for the Thai Binh-based bus company Duc Thinh and a staffer of the bus company Truong Ky, which operates a bus line connecting Thai Binh and Hanoi.

After shooting his foe, the Duc Thinh staffer quickly fled the scene.

The Truong Ky personnel was found with severe shotgun bullet wounds in his shoulder.

He was promptly hospitalized and received emergency care.

Early inspection revealed the victim to be B.H.H, the son of Truong Ky Company owner.

Police are further investigating the case and searching for the perpetrator.
