A 92-year-old woman from the northern Vietnamese province of Hai Duong has tested positive for the novel coronavirus after coming into close contact with a COVID-19 patient.

She was among the seven people who tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Hai Duong on Sunday, according to the provincial steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control.

They reside in Tuan Viet, Kim Lien, and Ngu Phuc Communes and Phu Thai Town, located in Kim Thanh District.

The elderly woman – Ta Thi B. – is the oldest person in Hai Duong to test positive for the novel coronavirus.
