Water from a canal in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City flew through the sewers and poured into a neighborhood on Tuesday night, inundating a local street and multiple houses.
High tide caused Go Dua Canal to overflow on Tuesday night, resulting in flooding on Street No.30 and in many houses in Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City.
D., 30, a resident in Linh Dong Ward, said water from the canal began pouring into the neighborhood through the sewers along Street No. 30 at around 9:15 pm.

Many commuters decided to wait on the sidewalks for the water to recede before continuing their journey.
In front of the 4S Apartment Building, at least five automobiles were submerged.
The car owners had to ask other residents to help them push their vehicles to higher ground.
