Residents in Ho Chi Minh City have been enjoying the cold weather over the past few days with temperatures early in the morning ranging from 19 to 23 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday morning, the weather in the southern metropolis continued to be cold, cloudy, and breezy.
Along many streets, commuters were wearing jackets, gloves, and scarves to keep themselves warm.
“I put on warm clothes to exercise in the morning,” said Minh, a resident in Phu Nhuan District.
“It has been a long time since I last felt such cold weather in Ho Chi Minh City.”

Hoang Quyen, a university student, said she and her friends decided to hang out at a coffee shop to enjoy this atmosphere.
The lowest temperature in Ho Chi Minh City was recorded as 21 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, which was higher than that on Saturday morning, against the norm of 30 degrees or more, according to the southern hydro-meteorological station.

It began to be sunny after 8:00 am, and the mercury rose to about 28-31 degrees Celsius around noon.
Lows of 17-18 degrees Celsius were reported in other southern localities such as Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai.
Temperatures in southern Vietnam is expected to increase again over the next days.
