Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco), Ho Chi Minh City’s water supplier, has issued a notice for a water cut that is expected to affect 13 districts and Thu Duc City this weekend.
The service disturbance is scheduled to start at 9:00 pm on Saturday and last until 5:00 am on Sunday for technicians to replace pump valses, according to Sawaco’s announcement.
As a result, households in some districts and Thu Duc City will experience either no or low-pressure water.
Specifically, there will be no water from the taps in the entirety of District 1, District 3, District 4, District 5, District 10, and Phu Nhuan District.
Wards 1, 2, 3, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25 in Binh Thanh District, Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 12 in Tan Binh District, Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 in District 6, Tan Thuan Dong Ward in District 7, Wards 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 in District 8, and Wards 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 in District 11 will be subject to the same complete water cut.
In Thu Duc City, the wards of Linh Xuan, Linh Trung, Linh Chieu, Truong Tho, Linh Tay, Linh Dong, Thao Dien, An Phu, Binh Trung Tay, Binh Trung Dong, Cat Lai, Thanh My Loi, Hiep Phu, Tang Nhon Phu A, Tang Nhon Phu B, Phuoc Long B, Tan Phu, Long Binh, Long Thanh My, Truong Thanh, Long Phuoc, Long Truong, and Phu Huu will also suffer from the water supply halt.
Other wards in Tan Binh District and Binh Chanh District might expect low-pressure water.
