Teen boy drowns during lake swim in southern Vietnam

Authorities in Binh Phuoc Province, southern Vietnam have reported a drowning case, in which the victim was a 13-year-old boy.
N.V.P., 13, went swimming at Suoi Cam Lake in Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc with three friends at around 8:40 am on Friday.
While swimming, P. suddenly struggled in the water.
His three friends tried to come to his aid but failed.
The group of teenagers then shouted for help from some nearby fishermen, but P. had already sunk into the lake.
Rescuers came shortly after and managed to recover P., but he was already dead.
