-- Part of a bridge collapsed on Sunday along a ring road in Patras, Greece’s third-largest city, killing one person and injuring eight, Reuters quoted the fire brigade as saying.

-- Nine were killed, including four military personnel, after a civilian plane crashed in Port Sudan airport due to a technical failure, Reuters quoted the Sudanese army as saying on Sunday.
