Shooting injures 2 in Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa Province

Authorities in Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam on Saturday confirmed that a recent shooting incident occurred in Ninh Hoa Town, resulting in injuries to two individuals.
Residents of Ninh Hiep Ward in Ninh Hoa Town heard a loud noise resembling a gunshot emanating from a local house at around 10:00 pm on Friday, according to the authorities.
The residents then noticed two individuals inside the house sustaining injuries that raised suspicions of being gunshot wounds.
Upon receiving the report on the case, the local police promptly came to cordon off the area and initiate an investigation, during which officials confiscated a firearm at the scene.

The injured people were then transported to Ninh Hoa General Hospital for medical attention.
The hospital reported that one individual sustained injuries in the eye, while the other had wounds in the back.
Both were subsequently transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for further treatment.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
