-- Over 30 cows roamed freely on a local road in Phu Quoc, an island city off the coast of Kien Giang Province in southern Vietnam, on Wednesday morning, posing a traffic hazard.

-- Videos of a dugong appearing near the shore of Con Dao Island off the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau have gone viral on local social media.

-- Four companies on Wednesday signed a cooperative agreement on a cruise shipbuilding project, marking a key milestone for Vietnam’s waterway tourism. Under the deal, cruise ship Mekong Lover will be built in Ho Chi Minh City and carry a price tag of over VND100 billion (US$4 million).

-- Sweden’s textile company Syre is eyeing the investment in a polyester recycling and manufacturing complex project at Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park in Binh Dinh Province, south-central Vietnam, with a total capital of up to $1 billion.

-- The 16th Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair (VIFA EXPO 2025) will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City from March 5 to 8, featuring over 650 local and international exhibitors with more than 2,500 booths.
