-- Following a two-day journey across eight provinces and cities within the Mekong Delta region to assess the ongoing landslide situation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, dedicated Sunday to visiting enterprises, talking to farmers, and holding discussions with Dong Thap Province’s leaders.

-- Pham Van Son, director of the Vietnam Environmental Incident Response Center, expressed concerns over the flow of a stream of sludge from a copper ore processing plant in Lao Cai Province into the environment.
