-- State President Vo Van Thuong will travel to China on Tuesday next week to attend the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
-- Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich will pay an official visit to Vietnam on Sunday at the invitation of Vuong Dinh Hue, chairman of Vietnam’s lawmaking National Assembly. His two-day visit will mark the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

-- Many provinces in central Vietnam will be battered by heavy downpours on Friday and Saturday, with rainfall estimated to reach up to 700 millimeters, according to the national weather center.
