Police in Lam Dong Province, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands, stated on Tuesday that they had summoned a teenage boy for riding a motorbike with his feet on the handlebars, posing a danger to other commuters.

Police officers in Da Rsal Commune, Dam Rong District detected a video of a boy riding a motorbike with his feet and carrying another person in the commune on Facebook on Monday.

They later verified the video and identified the boy as D.N.T., a 17-year-old resident of the commune.

T. gave up his studies and has no stable job.

At the police station, T. confessed that he carried his friend on Sunday evening last week.

On the National Highway 27 section in Lien Huong Village, Da Rsal Commune, he used his feet to control the motorbike and asked his friend, V.N.K.B., 17, to film his stunt.

B. later shared the video of his friend’s reckless act on Facebook.

The Da Rsal Police summoned T. and his parents. As T. is under 18, police officers did not levy a fine on him.

T. found his act illegal and dangerous to society, according to police.

Police reminded and asked him and his family to make a commitment not to repeat the act.

B. also voluntarily removed the video of his friend’s stunt from Facebook.
