-- A Chinese laborer was seriously injured after an iron frame weighing one metric ton fell onto him while he was working at a construction site in Bac Giang Province, northern Vietnam.
-- The T2 passenger terminal project at Dong Hoi Airport in Quang Binh Province, north-central Vietnam is expected to be commenced next quarter and put into operation in the first quarter of 2026, according to the investor of the project, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam. The project carries a price tag of VND1.75 trillion (US$68.9 million).
-- The demand for fresh food and eggs in Singapore is huge, so it sought to import the products from Vietnam, Abdul Jalil Kader, deputy director of the Singapore Food Agency, said during his visit to a factory of Ba Huan JSC, Vietnam's leading producer of pasteurized eggs and poultry meat, in Long An Province, southern Vietnam on Friday.
