-- State President To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, who came to say goodbye to the state leader at the end of his tenure, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

-- The Vietnamese state leader on Wednesday sent a message of congratulations to Masoud Pezeshkian on his election as president of Iran, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
