A worker was seriously injured on Tuesday when the concrete floor of a house under renovation collapsed on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Around 11:00 am, the floor gave way while a team of workers was repairing the 150-square-meter structure.
Several workers managed to escape, but one was trapped and taken to the hospital.
Debris was strewn across the site.
A representative from Saigon General Hospital in District 1 told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that ambulances were dispatched to provide initial aid and transport the injured worker to 115 People's Hospital in District 10 for further treatment.
