-- Boeing will showcase the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, the MH-139 Grey Wolf multi-mission helicopter, the ScanEagle unmanned aerial system, and the Wave Glider autonomous surface vessel at the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Expo, which is slated to kick off on Thursday in Hanoi.

-- Ho Chi Minh City is predicted to continue facing a housing shortage in 2025, heard a seminar on property held by the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association on Wednesday.

-- Traffic will be banned from the section of Le Loi Boulevard bounded by Pasteur and Dong Khoi Streets, and the section of Nguyen Hue Street between Le Thanh Ton and Ton Duc Thang Streets in downtown Ho Chi Minh City from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm on December 21 and 22 for the organization of a music show to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the All-People's National Defense Festival.

-- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received a delegation of aerospace, defence, and security companies under the US-ASEAN Business Council in Hanoi on Wednesday.

-- The statistical visualisation platform Seasia Stats recently ranked Vietnam among the top 15 economies in Asia, with its projected economic output reaching some $506 billion in 2025, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

-- Vietnam’s Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City air route continued to rank fourth among the top 10 busiest domestic flight routes in the world this year, with 10.6 million seats sold, according to data from OAG, the world’s leading provider of digital flight information, intelligence, and analytics for airports, airlines, and travel tech companies.
